If you suspect that you have fallen victim to a fraudulent transaction, quick action is essential to improve your chances of recovering the funds. Follow these steps to report a suspected fraudulent action:
- Contact Privat 3 Money Limited immediately, by telephone during business hours on +44 208 175 4025, via email to appclaims@privat3money.com or by filling in the APP fraud report form.
- Report the fraud to Action Fraud: To initiate the claim you will need a police report number. In the UK, report the scam to Action Fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or visiting their website at www.actionfraud.police.uk. If you're in Scotland, report it to Police Scotland by calling 101.
- Provide detailed information: When reporting the fraud, provide as much information as you can and ensure to provide any correspondence related to the transaction/s (e.g., emails, texts, invoices, messages etc). Explain why you believe the transfer was fraudulent to assist us in investigating the matter quickly.
- Monitor your accounts: Keep an eye on your accounts for any further suspicious activity. Report any additional unauthorised transactions to us immediately.
We recommend to change your online access password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if you haven’t already.
